It was very
pleasant morning in Kaghan Valley, there was a Mountain view in front of hotel
room and morning sun was throwing light
at peak of mountain covered with ice and that was amazing view.
We left for
Narran Valley and Lulusar Lake in morning as Narran Valley is also called
"Mini London" by the locals and it was like too. As Narran to Lulusar
Lake road was more dangerous so we have to rent out a jeep because our own
motors were unable to go there. That road was also dangerous because there were
some “Kohistani Tribal” People hiding in mountains that looted and sometimes
kill the visitors. But as there was patrolling police there so we decided to go
ahead to visits the Lulusar Lake.We reachecd at Lulusar Lake after 2 hours
drive from Narran Valley and it was dangerous as well tiring journey because
roads are not properly constructed.
Finally the
amazing view of Lake was in front of me. Lulusar Lake is surrounded by the
mountains that are covered with ice and water is of blue color as we look from
some distance but as we go near it changes its color to light green. It was
really a piece full place apart from all worries and no one can stop himself to
Say "SUBHANALLAH" after seeing that view.
Lulusar is the
name of mountains around the Lake and it is approximately 12,000 ft above sea
level due to this height there was less oxygen in air there as we felt problem
in breathing but after some time we were used to of that and we felt normal there. But it was very
cold there and I really enjoyed that.
As we spent
whole day there and have lunch there and food was delicious at Lake or may b it
was more due to Views around us. We also planned to visit Kunhar Lake that was
at Peak of Kunhar Mountains and starting from Kunhar River but as road back to
Narran was dangerous so we canceled it and left for hotel at 3:00 PM in afternoon.
Coming back to hotel and sun was setting so temperature was decreasing and cold
was at peak as we returned in hotel, tired and hungry. In night it was a plan to
eat traditional “Saallam Dum Pukht Lamb” but unfortunately due to off season it was not available anywhere.
On Next day our plan was to visit lake “Saif ul Malook” the fairy lake, it is said that fairies come there for bath as it is
so beautiful place And I was excited to meet the fairies. (To be continued....)
